A child who witnessed his father’s lifeless body on the floor of their home while his mother, the alleged attacker, lay on top of him, reportedly trying to stop the bleeding, is traumatized.
The step mother of stabbing victim, Cletus Edward, says the child is in serious need of counselling and has not uttered a word since the incident. She has called on relevant agencies for assistance in this regard. The woman said that just last week she had requested that the police assist the couple because of their tumultuous relationship, but was told that a report had to be made by either Edward of his common law wife.
