One man was left nursing injuries following an alleged home invasion in Pierrot, Vieux Fort.
Two of the men who were at the house at the time, say that at about 11 pm six unmasked man knocked on the door and demanded to be let in. The men claim that the alleged assailants began breaking windows and doors and eventually gained access to the house. One of the occupants of the house was beaten and injured. Items were allegedly stolen or vandalized during the home invasion. A police investigation is underway.
