The CARICOM Cannabis Commission will be visiting St Lucia next month. The Commission is headed by Professor Rose-Marie Bell Antoine. The Commission has only visited Saint Vincent thus far and this happened last year June. Unfortunately for Saint Vincent last year, there was no prior notice from the CARICOM Commission of their impending visit by the media, and as a result, the national consultation on the issue was quite subdued. But, on the bright side, St Lucia is the only territory that has a National Cannabis Commission in place. It would therefore be in the interest of the general public to participate in this regional debate.
