The opposition has reiterated its concern about what it says is the deteriorating state of the health care system. As it relates to St Jude, the opposition leader, Phillip J Pierre, says the government is creating a crisis which need not be. The Opposition insists that there be no alternative use for St Jude hospital, no demolition and, that government move speedily to complete St Jude. Pierre, is also concerned that the Prime Minister’s budget gave no indication of when the National Health insurance scheme, would come into force. Pierre says if the scheme is not be in place during this fiscal year, then he is curious to know how the operation of the Owen King EU hospital will be funded
