Police are investigating a shooting in Black Mallet. Police say that 25 year old Shervon Joseph of Maynard Hill was driving a car with a female companion when 3 men opened fire on the vehicle. The female companion sustained no injuries but the male driver was not as lucky. Police superintendent, Gregory Alexander says he sustained a gunshot wound to the cheek, which exited the lower jaw, left arm and left thigh. The vehicle veered off the road and slammed into a tree. The young man was transported to Victoria Hospital via private vehicle.
