Normal operations have resumed at RBC. Employees returned to their posts following a report from the Health and Occupational Safety Unit. According to the National Workers Union NWU, the latest report was issued following an inspection on 1st February. The NWU says a thorough assessment was done in the presence of the union and employees and it was ruled that the building is fit for employees to return to work. Recommendations put forward by the occupational health and safety unit were implemented by the bank and the conditions are safe. The workers officially resumed duties on Monday 5th February.
