What is St Lucia doing to create jobs for its young people? That was the questioned posed to St Lucia’s Prime Minister, Allen Chastanet, on Thursday at the World Bank Conference to discuss key priorities for small Caribbean economies. The high level conference, is taking place in Miami, under the theme “The Caribbean Dilemma”.
Prime Minister Chastanet as well as Prime Minister of Grenada Keith Mitchel spoke about efforts to increase GDP and address the level of expenditure on public sector wages and salaries.
In the Prime Minister’s absence, Minister for Agriculture, Ezechiel Joseph, will serve as Acting Prime Minister.
