Today thousands of students from 69 primary schools across the country will undertake the Common Entrance Examination set by the Ministry of Education. The exam begins at 8:30 to about 3pm. Special accommodation will be made for children with physical or learning disabilities. While every child is guaranteed a place at a Secondary School there is still much anxiety about passing to the school of one’s choice. Over the years there has been major concern about student performance in mathematics and expressive writing and main idea. The results of this year’s exam are expected in early July.
