A number of local authors say they are frustrated with a three year process of trying to receive their books which they gave on consignment to Sunshine Bookstore.
The bookstore is no longer in operation but the authors say three years later, they are still waiting for the liquidator of the business to return their books. June King-Fredrick and Dawn French are two local authors who spoek with Hot FM News on Tuesday. They say they are baffled by the lack of answers on why they cannot receive their books after three years. They make it clear that the books never belonged to Sunshine Bookstore. The authors are now contemplating legal action as they try to reclaim their books. We reached out to the liquidator for Sunshine Bookstore for a comment. He declined to make any statement on the matter.
