A number of local authors say they have had it with a three year process of trying to receive books that they gave on consignment to sunshine Bookstore.
The bookstore has not been in operation for years but the authors say three years later they are waiting for the liquidator of the business to return their books. June King Fredrick is the author of a children’s activity book called Petit con nous Petit. She says is in a state of confusion and disbelief.
Dawn French is another author who is being impacted by the situation. She says authors have been getting a run around from the gentleman who is liquidating the business.
We reached out to the liquidator for comment. He declined to comment.
