The Concerned Citizens of Saint Lucia group hosted its “Whistle stop tour” to highlight concerns about the multi-billion dollar DSH project and the proposed Dolphin Park, on Saturday.

One of the members of the concerned citizens group, Jerry George, says the tour was highly successful. He says clearly people want more information. The tour, which commenced at the parking lot of Massy-Mega at Choc, was joined by a number of vehicles. The motorcade then passed through communities in the North, where addresses were given by concerned citizens including former Castries Central MP, Richard Frederick, Journalist, Jerry George and Julius James of the Vieux Fort Concerned Citizens Coalition for Change (VFCCCC). Jerry George denies that the group is a partisan movement. He says this is what democracy is about. People letting their voices be heard.
