There has been much speculation that a man who died in Dacretin Choiseul may have been electrocuted. St Lucia’s lone power company, LUCELEC, hosted a press conference on Wednesday morning to address questions about reports that a LUCELEC stay wire was found on the building site where Tony Charlery’s body was discovered. Corporate communications Manager for LUCELEC, Roger Joseph, says the company is cooperating fully with the active investigation into the circumstances surrounding Charley’s death.

Chief engineer, Goodwin D’Auvergne, explained the functionality of the stay wires, stating that they do not carry electricity.
