The Civil Service Association and the St Lucia Tourist Board are expected to meet today Friday to discuss the future of the board and how CSA members will be impacted.

The CSA has repeatedly maintained that it will not comment on speculation or hearsay. President Evonne Edwin says the association must await information from the board about plans for the much talked about Tourism Authority and how it will impact her members. Already the top brass of the St Lucia Tourist Board have tendered their resignations. Prime Minister Allen Chastanet, has indicated that his government is on a mission to professionalize and not politicize the tourism entity. The two parties, CSA and SLTB, were unable to confirm if today’s meeting will go ahead as planned.
