Today Thursday 14th December, the community of Anse La Raye will launch the 2nd edition of its newly introduced “Anse la Raye Seafood Festivals – ARC Thursdays”. The event was another initiative to afford participants of the annual Atlantic Rally for Cruisers and their families, an opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture, cuisine and creativity of the island. On stage this Thursday will be Saint Lucia’s most toured Soca artiste Ricky T as well as “Dennery Segment” innovator DRC among others. Then on Friday December 22 it’s all about “Twadisyon Noel” in the village as part of the Anse La Raye Seafood Festivals. The popular Anse La Raye Fish Friday, was relaunched on Friday December 1. Minister for Tourism and Member of Parliament for the Anse La Raye Canaries Constituency, Dominic Fedee has announced a comprehensive plan for the overhauling of the once buoyant Anse La Raye Fishfry, adding that economic sustainability is central to the survival of the event.
